In this hands-on role, you will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality medical equipment is properly received, assembled, cleaned, and prepared for distribution to healthcare facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in organization, quality, and supporting patient care through efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments of medical equipment and supplies from vendors Verify accuracy of orders against purchase orders and packing slips Assemble medical equipment according to manufacturer instructions and quality standards Clean, disinfect, and sanitize equipment following strict infection control and company protocols Package and prepare equipment for shipment or delivery to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards Perform routine equipment maintenance checks Assist with loading/unloading trucks as needed Follow all safety guidelines, especially those related to handling medical devices Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous warehouse, assembly, or medical equipment experience is strongly preferred Ability to read and follow detailed assembly instructions and technical manuals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills (inventory software, email, Microsoft Office) Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods Forklift certification is a plus (training will be provided if needed) Must pass background check and drug screening Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record Ideal Candidate Takes pride in producing clean, well-assembled, ready-to-use medical equipment Works well independently and as part of a team Understands the importance of hygiene and infection control in a medical setting Safety-minded and organized
Pay:
$11.00 - $18.00 per hour
