Job Description

Heavy Equipment Material Handler West Memphis, AR $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Mon-Fri, 6:00am - 2:30 pm Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Material Handler to safely move raw materials, tank components, and finished products throughout our manufacturing facility and yard. This role requires operating heavy material handling equipment while supporting production, shipping, and safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts, travel lifts, and boom lifts to transport materials and finished tanks. Load and unload steel materials, tank components, and finished products. Position large tanks and oversized loads for fabrication, blasting, painting, fiberglass, and shipping operations. Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are delivered on time. Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Assist other departments as needed to support production flow. Qualifications Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment required. Experience handling oversized or heavy loads preferred. Travel Lift and Boom Lift experience strongly preferred. Strong attention to safety and ability to maneuver equipment in tight spaces. Ability to work effectively with production teams and communicate clearly. High school diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, climb, bend, and move throughout the shift. Lift up to 60 lbs as needed. Comfortable working in an industrial and outdoor environment. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
