General Labor

Overview This is an entry-level position that supports production by sweeping, cleaning and operating various pieces of equipment. Responsibilities

• Clean-up left-over product around tanks and other equipment
• Operate forklift to support production on a daily basis
• Stack bags of product in a concise and consistent manner
• Cross-train with other departments to provide consistency throughout the Company
• Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
• Available for overtime work on a scheduled or call-in basis, as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Qualifications A high school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience; certification preferred. Basic operating knowledge of augers, belt-driven machinery, elevators, and other equipment used in the production process Skills Ability to pay attention to detail among constant distractions. Ability to communicate concerns/problems to manager/supervisor on a professional level. Physical Requirments

• Continuously lift/move/push/pull objects weighing up to and including 50-pounds; regularly lift/move/push/pull objects weighing up to and including 75-pounds
• Continuously shovel material
• Frequently climbs ladders; occasionally works at heights of 100 feet
• Frequently stoop/crouch/bend/climb/push/pull objects to complete the essential functions of this position
• Vision sufficient to safely perform the essential job tasks. Environment
• Continuously exposed to outdoor/uncontrolled weather conditions
• Regularly exposed to work near moving parts/equipment
• Regularly exposed to major amounts of dust
• Regularly exposed to moderate to severe noise levels
• Occasionally exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
