Your New Job Job Summary:
Our operating unit provides underground utility services, and we are looking for a Materials Handler to join our team. This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great focus to detail and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
Orders materials and tools as needed or as requested. Tracks inventory on all material and tools in the yard and shop (manually and in the computer). Stage and/or deliver materials to job sites. Loads and unloads trucks with a forklift. Assists in any other assigned tasks as required. Ability to operate a forklift and backhoe safely. Ability to effectively talk to employees, vendors, supervisors, customers, manufacturers, etc. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions when buying materials/parts/tools. Helping Manager with any other duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A Driver License with a clean driving record. Able to work in all outdoor temperatures and conditions. Must have great computer skills. A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways. GRIT values -
