Part-Time Warehouse Associate (Expanding to Full Time in Near Future)

Part-Time Warehouse Associate (Forklift Experience) — Potential to Grow Into Full-Time A consumer product company headquartered in Scottsdale is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate for our distribution warehouse in Central Phoenix, near Sky Harbor, to support our growing import and distribution operations. Our company manages inbound containers and outbound orders for major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Menards. This role involves operating a forklift, receiving and inspecting shipments, picking and packing orders, and keeping our warehouse organized and running smoothly. You'll work directly with our Warehouse Manager and be involved in every part of the warehouse process — from container unloads to final outbound prep to inventory management and reporting.

Scheduling is flexible:

most days will be a minimum 4-hour shift, with some full 8-hour days during busy periods like inbound container unloads, peak retail shipping windows, and inventory counts. We're looking for someone who can commit to 5 days a week and is also available for occasional full days with reasonable notice. This role is starting part-time, but we anticipate it growing into a full-time position fairly quickly as our volume continues to increase — a great opportunity for someone with forklift experience looking to grow with a fast-paced small business. What We're Looking For Forklift Experience — Comfortable operating a sit-down forklift in a working warehouse environment. Certification is a plus; we can certify on-site if needed. Physical Capability — Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more with assistance. Reliability — Punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team. Flexibility — Comfortable with a variable schedule that includes both short shifts and occasional full days. Basic Computer Skills — Comfortable using a computer and warehouse management software (WMS) to process receiving, picking, and order fulfillment; training provided on our specific system. Our WMS and safety instructions are in English, so candidates must be able to read and understand English to use the system and follow safety procedures. Relevant Background — Prior warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Schedule Minimum 4-hour shifts, multiple days per week, with some full 8-hour days as inbound/outbound volume requires. During summer months, shifts start at 7:00 AM to beat the heat. Schedule is set based on mutual availability, with advance notice given for full-day needs whenever possible. Compensation $16.50-$20.00/hour, depending on experience and forklift certification.
