This pivotal role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and leading a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse distribution processes and process improvements within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and materials handling Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and promote a safe working environment Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms for inventory control and order processing Oversee forklift operations and heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper mechanical knowledge and safety procedures are followed Coordinate logistics for e-commerce orders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to meet delivery deadlines Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement process improvements for accuracy Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy in tracking shipments via Warehouse Management System Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors Maintain adherence to company policies related to materials handling, logistics, and warehouse safety standards Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor with strong leadership skills Extensive knowledge of inventory management, distribution processes, and logistics operations Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and related software tools Hands-on experience with forklift operation and mechanical troubleshooting Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in materials handling Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for team management and cross-department collaboration Prior experience working within e-commerce or 3PL environments is preferred If you are committed to operational excellence, safety compliance, and leading a dedicated team in a vibrant warehouse setting, we encourage you to apply today.
