Material Handler

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a dependable Material Handler in Tempe, AZ , to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role is hands-on and focused on accurate order fulfillment, safe material movement, and keeping work areas stocked and organized. You'll work with scanners and computer terminals to track inventory and maintain precise documentation. The ideal candidate takes pride in consistency, follows procedures closely, and contributes to a smooth, team-driven workflow.

The Day-to-Day:

Fill orders by picking products and packing shipping cartons Ship orders and assist with loading cartons onto trucks Prepare materials by making boxes, replenishing frozen gel packs, and restocking workstations Count inventory and help maintain assigned storage locations Provide quality customer service while ensuring order accuracy Complete assigned tasks in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Proficient computer skills Strong attention to detail with consistent, high-level accuracy Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, and simple equations) Team-oriented mindset with active participation in daily operations Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work for limited periods in walk-in refrigerators and freezers Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners and computer terminals

Pay Rate:

$18.00 /hr

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30

From $18.00 per hour
