While designated as a Material Handler, the role is centered on cycle count operations and supports both warehouse and production activities by maintaining organized count areas, verifying and tracking deliveries, resolving inventory discrepancies, and contributing to continuous improvement in inventory accuracy.
How you will do it:
- Perform daily cycle counts of raw and finished goods in both warehouse and production areas based on the cycle count calendar and operational needs.
- Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies, including performing root-cause analysis.
- Organize and prepare designated count areas (labeling, creating space, ensuring materials are accessible and properly identified).
- Locate, verify, and process packing slips; confirm deliveries in alignment with internal procedures.
- Monitor low-stock items and communicate shortages to Purchasing and Inventory Management.
- Label and relocate products to designated storage or usage locations.
- Support warehouse optimization initiatives, such as rack construction/deconstruction, layout adjustments, and labeling improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Inventory Management.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and resolve discrepancies.
Skills and Abilities Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand written and visual instructions, including drawings, blueprints, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including working with fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to apply sound judgment to follow instructions, verify quantities, manage incoming materials, and resolve issues within established procedures. Standing and Walking:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete warehouse floors.
Lifting and Carrying:

Ability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment.
Reaching and Bending:
Frequent reaching overhead, bending, stooping, kneeling, and other movements needed to access inventory or operate equipment.
Manual Dexterity:
Use hands and fingers to operate computers, calculators, scanners, printers, and other warehouse or office equipment.
Forklift Operation:
Must be physically capable of safely operating a forklift and other powered industrial trucks.
Visual and Auditory Requirements:
Sufficient vision and hearing to navigate warehouse environments safely, read labels and documents, and communicate effectively. Work Environment Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and typical warehouse activity. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and vibration. Work may occur in non‑climate‑controlled areas with varying temperatures (hot or cold). Possible exposure to dust, noise, and industrial equipment. Noise levels are generally moderate but may vary based on operational activity. Other Applicants need to pass a drug test & background check. You will be a temp for the first 90 days, based on your attendance, performance & overall safeness you may be converted over to a permanent employee.
