Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Purchasing Clerk and become a vital part of our supply chain operations! In this energetic role, you will coordinate procurement activities, manage inventory levels, and ensure seamless sourcing of materials essential for our warehouse operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help optimize purchasing processes, support production planning, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms that maximize value and efficiency Monitor inventory levels through inventory management and control systems to prevent shortages or overstock situations Support sourcing activities by evaluating supplier performance and assisting in supplier selection based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and inventory data Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements to ensure smooth receipt of goods into the warehouse Assist with production planning and merchandising efforts by providing timely procurement updates and inventory status reports Requirements Clean 39-month MVR and ability to obtain a DOT health card (if needed) Pass a pre-employment drug screen Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including purchasing, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and procurement strategies Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to support production planning and inventory control Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers Understanding of contracts management, pricing strategies related to warehouse operations Ability to analyze data related to materials management, inventory levels, and supply chain performance for continuous improvement Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments including logistics, production planning, and merchandisingThis role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in supply chain operations while making a tangible impact on warehouse efficiency. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
