Job Description

LMi is a locally operated internet service provider and managed IT services company that has been supporting the San Francisco Bay Area since 1992. Position Overview The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting LMi's operations by managing the flow of inventory used for installations, network enhancements, and IT projects. This position is responsible for ensuring all materials and equipment are properly received, stored, tracked, and readily available, helping field technicians perform efficiently and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Receive, unpack, and examine incoming shipments of materials, tools, and equipment. Confirm accuracy of deliveries by checking quantities and part numbers against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists. Enter and label inventory accurately within the warehouse management system. Arrange and store stock in designated areas to improve organization and accessibility. Prepare, pack, and stage materials for technician assignments and service orders. Conduct routine inventory counts and support full inventory audits. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely material handling. Identify and report damaged or faulty items and assist with return procedures. Support the transfer of equipment between locations when required.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling. Ability to use basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to understand and work with inventory records and documentation. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. What We Offer Competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
