Position Overview The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations including material handling, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, order preparation, and forklift operation. Successful candidates are team-oriented, safety-focused, organized, and capable of maintaining productivity and accuracy in a physically active environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts in a busy warehouse environment Pick, pack, palletize, label, and prepare orders for same-day and next-day delivery Load, unload, move, and stage inventory accurately and efficiently Receive and verify incoming materials Support shipping, receiving, replenishment, and inventory movement activities Maintain organized warehouse locations and accurate product storage Assist with overflow tasks across warehouse departments as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Follow company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and operational SOPs Support workflow efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives Work collaboratively with warehouse leadership and team members to meet operational goals Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience (stand-up and sit-down) Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and material handling processes Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes Strong multitasking, organizational, and teamwork skills Positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow within the company Preferred Qualifications Experience with warehouse inventory systems Knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety practices Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift Ability to regularly lift 50-75 lbs Comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment Ability to occasionally work at heights or climb stairs/ladders Why Join 4K Aluminum of California?
