GotPrint.com is a Global print-on-demand company with multiple facilities across the United States, Europe and Asia have an immediate opening for an experienced Prepress Technician who can professionally check artwork and ensure that it is correctly formatted before it goes to print. Consider a career at GotPrint.com and be a part of one of the biggest forces in our industry! Job Summary Prepress Preflight Warehouse Worker requires organizational skills. Must be able to organize your time and be able to meet deadlines. Must be familiar with composing and ripping software (ex. Caldera). Must be comfortable communicating with multiple machine operators at the same time. Tasks and Responsibilities Organizes batches daily Makes sure all jobs are sent to print on time Triple check each layout and batch PDF before it goes to print Make layouts for each batch Must meet deadlines Must be detail-oriented Participate in safety All other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills Comprehensive understanding of computer functions and software application The largest portion of this position is proofreading and ensuring accuracy, meeting guidelines and correct completion of all assignments, so attention to detail, accountability and the ability to communicate effectively is crucial Use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and obtain information from all relevant sources Being aware of internal and external limitations and conditions and how that could impact the customers Meticulous organizational skills Must be computer literate Abilities Ability to read, listen, and understand information presented in various mediums Be flexible in an ever-changing environment and in stressful situations Follow direction and respect authority figures within the organization Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail To learn, implement and practice all GotPrint.com policies and procedures Keep a clean workplace General arithmetic skills Be available for overtime Experience High School Diploma At least 1 year experience in printing and/or graphic design
