In this role, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by selecting, packing, and verifying items using various warehouse equipment and systems. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, timely order fulfillment, and high-quality service. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and warehouse experience will contribute directly to our success. Duties Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and verify customer orders. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Conduct order picking with precision using pickers and other inventory tools to ensure correct items are selected for each order. Perform quality control checks during packing to maintain high standards of accuracy and product integrity. Prepare shipments by packaging items securely, labeling packages correctly, and coordinating shipping & receiving processes. Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves efficiently and maintaining organized storage areas for easy access. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading incoming goods, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and heavy equipment operation such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance is a plus. Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or overseeing warehouse processes is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control and accurate order fulfillment.
