Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on order fulfillment, inventory control, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a distribution center environment and possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. Duties Perform order fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory records in the warehouse management system. Operate forklifts and cranes safely to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and accessibility of products. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment used in the warehouse operations. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory control systems. Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other materials handling equipment safely. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
