In this energetic position, you will operate specialized equipment to pick, load, and unload products with precision and safety. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution processes, supporting our commitment to timely delivery and exceptional service. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation while contributing to a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Safely operate Turret forklift, reach trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to retrieve and store inventory within the warehouse. Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to ensure correct shipments. Load and unload materials efficiently, adhering to OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform minor repairs or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal functioning of all machinery. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining precise records. Support warehouse management by maintaining organized storage areas, ensuring materials handling processes are streamlined and safe. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and uphold high standards of warehouse distribution. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, clamp trucks, or forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to equipment operation and materials handling. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshoot operational issues. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, inventory control, or warehouse supervision is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting regularly. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry are essential for success in this role.
