The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of products. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Load and unload packages and materials from trucks and containers. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for moving stock within the warehouse. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Assist in fabricating packaging materials as needed for product shipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with knowledge of warehouse management systems being a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock and inventory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed within the warehouse operations.
