Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Operator (Part-time) to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring efficient movement, handling, and storage of materials within our warehouse environment. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Assist with order picking using appropriate equipment such as order pickers and pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to organize inventory, optimize storage space, and improve overall warehouse distribution workflows. Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols at all times. Assist in general warehouse tasks such as stacking pallets, organizing storage areas, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Support team efforts in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
