Job Title:
General Laborer - 1st Shift 5am-1:30pm Plus OT Job Description This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a conveyor-based production line. You will support production by grinding, assembling, loading and unloading materials, and using hand and power tools to prepare and finish products. Responsibilities Perform general labor duties to support daily production operations on a conveyor-type system. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as grinding, sanding, and deburring. Assist with assembly tasks to ensure products meet quality and production standards. Load and unload materials and components as needed throughout the production process. Support paint preparation activities, including sanding, masking, and cleaning parts for finishing. Operate or assist with spray guns and work in a paint booth as required for production. Follow manufacturing procedures and safety guidelines at all times while working on the production floor. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow and safe operations. Cross-train in multiple tasks and assist coworkers in different areas of the facility as needed. Work at a consistent pace to meet production goals and adapt to changing priorities on the line. Essential Skills Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in heavy industrial environments. Experience performing general labor or general production work in a manufacturing setting. Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools for grinding, sanding, and assembly tasks. Comfort working in a very fast-paced production environment. Willingness to cross train and perform multiple tasks across the facility. Ability to work cooperatively with others and assist teammates as needed. Reliability in maintaining a consistent work schedule on 1st shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in door manufacturing or similar conveyor-based production environments. Experience in deburring, grinding, and finishing metal or other industrial materials. Familiarity with paint preparation processes, including paint prep, sanding, and masking. Experience using spray guns and working in a paint booth. Comfort working around machinery and machine operation in a production setting. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
