This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, inventory, and products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a team environment, and is eager to learn and grow with the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, shipping, inspect, and unload incoming materials and shipments Move materials to designated storage or production areas Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding inventory and material needs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred Forklift experience or certification is a plus Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Basic computer and inventory tracking skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented with good communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Work Environment:

Warehouse and/or manufacturing environment Fast-paced setting with frequent movement throughout the facility Regular lifting, bending, standing, walking, and reaching required Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels depending on the facility Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, gloves, and safety glasses may be required VPC is a vacuum science company supplying mechanical hardware to research institutions as well as equipment manufacturers.
