Job Description

Job Summary:
Manage incoming and outgoing orders for all JP Allen, Inc. properties to include hotels and/or apartment facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes placing order in delivery area. Accurately restock incoming items, logging items as required Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy File requests for necessary items when stock is low Demonstrate commitment to all safety standards at all times Perform inventory control checks Contribute to team effort and work cooperatively with team members and supervisors Use equipment properly and maintain it as needed Operate a forklift as needed Keep neat and orderly records of all incoming and outgoing orders Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat Maintains clean shipping supply area, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Report any order discrepancies or issues to management on a timely basis Maintain and drive transport vehicles, such as trucks and vans, when necessary to move stock Manage and maintain recycling program Maintain parts room and tool room controls Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent One (1) year of prior warehouse experience Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations in an effective manner and solve problems May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Prior experience with a forklift and/or a forklift certification is preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry, push, move and lift large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 30 pounds Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other physical activities
