About Us Slate Staging & Design is a Bay Area home staging company providing staging and interior styling services for real estate agents, homeowners, and developers. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team member to join our warehouse and moving crew. This role is essential to keeping our operations running efficiently and ensuring every staging project is executed smoothly from start to finish. Position Overview The Mover / Driver / Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, staging installations, and de-staging projects throughout the Bay Area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, active work, thrives in a team environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. The right candidate is organized, proactive, reliable, and takes pride in doing things the right way. Responsibilities Load, unload, move, and transport furniture and décor between warehouse and staging locations Drive a 20-ft box truck safely throughout the Bay Area Assist with staging installations, including furniture placement, bed assembly, hanging artwork, and décor setup Assist with de-staging projects, including wrapping, packing, and safely transporting inventory back to the warehouse Organize and maintain warehouse spaces, inventory areas, and common areas Clean and prep furniture, rugs, linens, and accessories after de-stages Assist with inventory organization and preparation for upcoming staging projects Support basic furniture assembly and minor handyman tasks Perform dump runs and assist with breaking down cardboard and packing materials Work closely with the staging and warehouse teams to maintain efficient operations Help improve and maintain warehouse systems and organization processes Qualifications Previous warehouse, moving, delivery, or furniture handling experience preferred Experience driving a box truck preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed Ability to communicate effectively in English Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Personal cell phone Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (80+ lbs) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Willingness to travel locally throughout the Bay Area Schedule Monday-Friday Weekend work occasionally required during busy periods Experience Moving or warehouse experience: 1 year preferred Work Location In person — Hayward, CA How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction about yourself and your experience.
