Job Description
About Us Rica Recycling is Hayward's trusted local e-waste recycling company. We help businesses and residents responsibly recycle electronics, keeping valuable materials out of landfills. We're looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our warehouse operations and assist with local pick-ups. Job Responsibilities Sort, dismantle, and process incoming electronic equipment Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Load and unload trucks and handle materials up to 50 lbs Drive a Class C vehicle (non-commercial) for scheduled e-waste pick-ups at customer sites Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse Assist with inventory management and recordkeeping Provide excellent customer service during pick-ups and at the warehouse Preferred Qualifications Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift certification (or willingness to train) Strong work ethic and willingness to get hands dirty Ability to take feedback with a growth mindset Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers To confirm you've read this posting, please include the phrase 'Ready to Recycle' in your application
