- 6:30 PM Overtime required as needed to complete daily orders
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and reliable 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates to support operations in a fast-paced distribution center located in Hayward, CA. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and storage of materials, as well as order fulfillment activities to meet daily shipping and receiving targets. As part of the warehouse operations team, you will utilize material handling equipment to pick, stage, and load products for outbound shipments and restock inventory as needed. Attention to detail, safety, and speed are essential in this position.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), including:
- Cherry Picker
- Reach Truck
- Stand-on Electric Pallet Jack
- Sit-down Single Forklift
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for shipment
- Receive inbound shipments, verify contents, and stock items accordingly
- Perform inventory control functions, including cycle counts and stock replenishment
- Ensure all orders meet company quality and accuracy standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating all listed warehouse equipment
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
