Four openings are based at our Newark location, and three are based at our Hayward location. This is a temporary-to-hire, full-time position. As a warehouse operator, you will be responsible for managing inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in a warehouse setting.

Working Hours :

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:40 PM (with a 40-minute unpaid lunch break). Overtime and Saturday work may be required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Processing Shipments:

Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify contents against invoices or manifests.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies to management.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that items are correctly labeled and securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Equipment Operation:

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods within the warehouse safely.

Warehouse Maintenance:

Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Communication:

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.

Physical Stamina:

Equipment Proficiency:

Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is preferred.

Familiarity with inventory management software and basic data entry tasks.

Work Environment:

Lifting and moving heavy items, may require working in shifts, including evenings and weekends, depending on the operational needs of the facility.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
