Warehouse Worker- Sheet Metal US Fabrications Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Forklift Certification Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker specializing in Sheet Metal to join our dynamic distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling sheet metal materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting warehouse operations to meet production and shipping deadlines. Your energetic approach will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment, contributing directly to our manufacturing and distribution success. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport parts using heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and track inventory movement accurately. Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision, ensuring correct quantities and packaging standards are met. Support order fulfillment processes by selecting materials with order pickers and ensuring timely delivery to production lines or customers. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace, adhering to OSHA safety standards and mechanical safety protocols. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions, improve workflow efficiency, and manage heavy equipment operation safely. Qualifications Warehouse experience preferred but not required Forklift experience is not required Strong attention to detail Dependable and team-oriented Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday
Schedule:
Full-time (weekend/ overtime may be required based on workload) Day shift
