Material Handler

Job Title:

Material Handler Job Description Responsible for production control activities in support of manufacturing operations. Main responsibilities include work order creation, component issues, and documentation support based on released production schedules. Miscellaneous support activities for Manufacturing and Materials are also part of responsibilities. Responsibilities Ensure all QAD production and inventory related transactions are completed in a timely fashion. Support CER in backflush of components to work orders and work order completions via QAD transactions. Assist Materials team in providing Kanban component fulfilment. Provide work order support to meet production schedules and assist in production prioritization. Assist in analysis of inventory discrepancies in production control and finished goods areas. Work with management to maintain production schedules and reports. Be fully cross-trained in all production control activities. Provide back-up for Materials Handling, Shipping, and Receiving functions. Under direct supervision, perform production control activities and independently solve routine issues. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Comply with written company policies and procedures. Essential Skills Material handling Inventory management Work order management ERP system proficiency Medical device knowledge Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Effective written and verbal communication skills Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment. QAD experience is desirable. Experience with JDE, SAP, or SysPro preferred. Knowledge of applicable Quality System Standards. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Why Work Here?
