Fully Onsite Role Overview BEPC is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Materials Handler I to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Madison, Wisconsin. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environments through equipment cleaning, laboratory support, GMP compliance, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or laboratory environment and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Follow and actively promote all safety protocols, procedures, and PPE requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, laboratory spaces, and manufacturing equipment, with a focus on GMP-regulated environments. Execute cleaning, maintenance, and operational procedures using established SOPs and work instructions. Operate manufacturing equipment safely and effectively during cleaning and maintenance activities. Support production operations through equipment verification, cleaning validation activities, and quality checks. Communicate operational status and shift updates using Microsoft Office applications and internal systems. Identify, report, and help resolve equipment, process, quality, and safety issues. Participate in routine inspections, audits, and corrective action activities. Assist with departmental projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping and workplace organization. Support a collaborative, team-oriented manufacturing environment across multiple shifts. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or analytical laboratory environment. Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures and protocols. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic mathematical and problem-solving abilities. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools, weighing devices, and measuring equipment. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements. Understanding of chemical hazards and safe handling procedures. Experience supporting pharmaceutical or API manufacturing operations. Knowledge of cleaning validation processes and manufacturing equipment maintenance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods while wearing full PPE. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Ability to work with highly potent or hazardous materials. Ability to work in Class I Division II environments and around moving mechanical equipment. Ability to wear respiratory protection, lab coats, and full-body protective equipment as required. About
