Job description We are recruiting a packaging and warehouse associate to join our team in Livermore, CA. We are looking for reliable employees who want stability and growth within a great company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare products and materials for packing and shipment.
- Process, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate packaging and warehouse machinery/equipment safely and effectively.
- Verify material status, including lot numbers, expiration dates, labeling accuracy, and product condition.
- Maintain inventory of products and packaging materials; restock as needed.
- Create and print shipping labels and related shipping documents.
- Track inventory and warehouse transactions using basic computer systems.
- Receive, inspect, sort, and properly store incoming products and materials.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies as needed.
- Occasionally repackage items for custom orders or special projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and packing environment.
- Follow all company safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist in other duties as needed to accomplish department and company goals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year warehouse or packaging experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery/equipment.
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, hand trucks, packaging equipment, and related warehouse tools.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, label creation, and shipping documentation.
- Good understanding of warehouse inventory systems and material verification processes.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding lot numbers, expiration dates, and labeling accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity required; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
- Strong communication skills in a multicultural team environment.
