Warehouse Clerk - Temp to Hire

Clarendon Specialty Fasteners, Inc. is an aerospace, space and motorsports hardware distributor located in Long Beach, CA moving to Irvine, CA. We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk to be part of our Warehouse team.

Job Duties:

Receiving Aerospace materials requiring the analyzing and cross referencing multiple levels of Material Certifications and Test Reports. Tracing Heat numbers through multiple reports. Verifying required Test Report levels. Responsible for various warehouse duties including reviewing certification packages. Pulling items according to the pick ticket. Prepare items for shipping by weighing, labeling, and packing goods. Meeting specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. Keeps product separated, organized and in good rotation. Responsible for various warehouse duties including reviewing certification packages. Process receipt of goods inward by verifying the goods received against the packing slip and certification documents. Shelving and retrieving boxes off the racks using an order picker and/or forklift or pallet jack equipment. Return goods accurately, stored safely on the shelf and in an organized manner. Manage Inventory Bins and set-up new bins as needed. Adjust bins and bag sizes as needed Scan bins for replenishment using a tablet and scanner Scan bags into the correct bin using a tablet and scanner Follows good safety and work safe practices. Keeping work areas clean, neat, well-organized, and safe. Report any mechanical problems with equipment. Identify opportunities to improve processes. Deliveries when needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills:

Experience reading and understanding aerospace certifications and test reports. Prior warehouse picking practices are a plus. Prior knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Software a plus. Experience reading and understanding aerospace certifications and test reports is a plus, but not required. Experience with an

ISO/AS9120A

company is a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

Strong attention to accuracy and details. People friendly and able to work well with others. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of warehouse safety regulations. Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Data entry and basic PC skills. Must have a great track record with attendance and able to show abide by an attendance policy. Must have a valid driver's license Able to lift 50 lbs.
