This position is to be directly working with the WH Manager on an assortment of duties. These daily duties include but are not limited to, receiving and inspection, packing of furniture, lifting and storing furniture, cleaning and maintain the warehouse and property. This position is a shadow role next to the manager to learn the roles of upkeeping the WH and property. Forklift or Cherry picker experience needed. Experience in the industry desired but not required. Eager to learn and follow direction well. Spanish speaking required. Duties Assist with inventory management, receiving and inspecting of boxes and furniture. Operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Support warehouse distribution activities by picking, packing, shipping, and receiving orders with precision while working with a team of 2-4 men. Work daily with the WH manager to perform a range of duties including but not limited to, breaking down and re assembling racks, moving and organizing furniture. Load and unload trucks swiftly while adhering to safety protocols for heavy equipment operation. Maintain organized storage areas through effective stocking practices using warehouse management systems. Follow all safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience is required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn! Experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, or order pickers is highly desirable; certification is a bonus. Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of construction tools can be advantageous for maintenance tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following OSHA safety standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and adaptability.
