Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for our Saturday, Sunday, Monday shift operation in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate must be forklift certified and have at least two years of related experience . This role is essential to ensuring that printed materials are properly packaged, labeled, and shipped to clients via FedEx, UPS, DHL, or mail according to production and customer requirements.
Shift Schedule:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday 10:00 AM•10:30 PM (Overtime as needed) Location:
12655 Beatrice Street, Los Angeles, CA 90066 Pay Range:
$19•21 per hour (DOE) Key Responsibilities Assemble and package printed materials accurately according to order instructions Weigh, label, and prepare items for shipment through FedEx, UPS, DHL, or mail Attach identifying information and shipping instructions to each package Generate and maintain accurate packing slips, shipping logs, and related reports Enter shipment data into computerized shipping systems Communicate effectively with the Shipping Manager regarding priorities and workflow Perform basic quality control checks on print and postal report files to ensure accuracy Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials and shipments Maintain a clean and organized work area Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Forklift certification preferred; 1-2 years of forklift and material handling experience Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions Basic computer and Excel skills required Experience with BCC Software/Mail Manager , mail barcodes, presort, and co-mingling preferred Familiarity with computerized shipping systems and carrier software (FedEx, UPS, DHL) a plus Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail Prior experience in a print or manufacturing environment a plus Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules Must be able to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits Pay:
