In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse functions, from receiving and stocking to order picking and shipping. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management and logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements, order picking, and stock updates. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products in designated areas, utilizing proper packaging techniques for safe transportation. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation like AS400 or MRP systems. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following proper safety procedures during load & unload activities. Support inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, stock replenishment, and data entry within warehouse distribution systems. Skills Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Ability to operate equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and confidently. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or MRP software for inventory control. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and stock stocking techniques. Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions efficiently. Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure products are prepared securely for transit. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
