Warehouse Associate (Bilingual) Direct Hire Group LLC North Hollywood, CA Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Packing Lift truck High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Organizational skills Warehouse experience RF scanner Manual handling Full Job Description Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory support, order fulfillment, kitting, and general warehouse activities. This role works across multiple areas of the warehouse based on business needs and helps ensure inventory is handled accurately, orders are shipped on time, and warehouse operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Our 3PL Operation, candidates must be able to communicate, read, and write in English. Our team uses Slack, ShipHero, handheld scanners, and iPads throughout the day, and employees are required to read work instructions, communicate with supervisors, and navigate our systems independently. Bilingual candidates are always a plus, but strong English communication skills are required for these positions. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment
- Pick customer orders accurately using scanners, pick tickets, and warehouse management systems.
- Verify SKUs and quantities before packing.
- Pack orders according to client-specific requirements and company standards.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station. Kitting & Assembly
- Assemble kits, bundles, subscription boxes, and promotional products according to work instructions.
- Follow client specifications and assembly requirements.
- Label and prepare completed kits for inventory storage or shipment.
- Assist with special projects and value-added services as needed. Receiving
- Unload and process inbound shipments.
- Verify received quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management.
- Label and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist in keeping receiving and staging areas organized. Inventory Support
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Perform inventory transfers and replenishments as directed.
- Help maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Report inventory discrepancies and location issues.
- Support inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping efforts. General Warehouse Operations
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments.
- Support warehouse projects and operational initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, receiving, or inventory experience.
- Experience using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Experience in a 3PL, eCommerce, or distribution environment.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus. Skills & Competencies
