Volt is immediately hiring 1st and 2nd shift Material Handlers in Milpitas, CA. As a Material Handler, you will: Works from requisition, order list or stock list to pull required items. Uses a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit accuracy. Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area. Processes returned items and unscheduled issues. Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued. Prepares requests for procurement of material. Lifts heavy items and may operate a pallet jack or forklift. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting. May audit kits for accuracy.

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday + OT 1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm
• OT will be before shift 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11pm
• OT will be after shift
• 10% shift premium The ideal candidate will have: 1 of related experience Must be able to lift up to 40lbs Experience with inventory, Stockpiles and manufacturing lines Must be able to use an Electric Pallet Jack Must wear composite or steel toe boots

Payrate:

$23.00 per hour

• 2nd Shift earns 10% shift premium Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
