Modesto, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Packing Forklift High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Materials handling Full Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory handling, stock organization, and shipment preparation. This role is crucial in maintaining an efficient, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials properly. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts. Ensure proper labeling and storage to prevent loss or damage. Order Fulfillment & Logistics Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Coordinate with logistics providers for timely deliveries. Load and unload shipments efficiently and safely. Warehouse Organization & Maintenance Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment. Follow standard operating procedures for inventory handling and storage. Safety & Compliance Follow all workplace safety protocols and company policies. Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (if certified). Report any safety hazards, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory systems and basic computer skills. Forklift certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs. regularly).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good organizational and time-management skills. Physical stamina for warehouse tasks (standing, walking, lifting).
