Volt is immediately hiring General Labor 2nd shift for a food manufacturing company in Chino, CA. As a General Laborer you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities Work in cooler temperature environment rotating around warmer and coolers, (freezers as needed) Ability to carry 50lbs repetitively Responsible for staking pallets, preparing packaging, labeling Learn how to set up and tear down filer machine and boxing machines Daily stocking of bottles, caps, and boxes for each run during scheduled shift. Maintain product / pallet counts per each product. General knowledge of forklift safety Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation guidelines at all times. Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to all safety procedures. Support team members and maintain a clean, organized work area. This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to carry 50lbs repetitively Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written). Comfortable working in varying temperatures (warm rooms, cold storage, and freezers). Willingness to learn, be trained, and rotate through different production tasks. Ability to stand for long periods, lift product as needed, and perform repetitive motions. Must be comfortable wearing PPE (gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, helmets, coat, etc.). Follow and adherence of SOP, SSOP, GMP, SQF and HACCP guidelines Preferred skills and qualifications Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Team player with good communication skills. Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environments is a plus but not required
Schedule :
Monday to Friday 2PM - 10:30PM (OT sometimes)
Pay :
