Warehouse Worker Confidential Norwalk, CA Job Details Temp-to-hire | Contract $21 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Pallet jack Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to support seamless warehouse distribution processes. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and equipment operation while contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations. 2:30PM

Duties pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and order processing. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing procedures. Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Stock shelves efficiently, maintain organized storage areas, and ensure proper labeling of products. Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels. Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes by preparing packages according to customer specifications. Use basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during packing and inventory tasks. Operate AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for order processing and data entry. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout for improved workflow efficiency. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse distribution operations, including shipping & receiving procedures. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment is advantageous; certification is a plus. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP software such as AS400 or MRP systems. Basic understanding of inventory control principles including stock rotation and cycle counting. Ability to perform order picking & packing accurately under time constraints. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and documentation. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
