$19 per hour About the Role We are looking for a dependable Assembly Associate to support our automotive production line. This role primarily focuses on operating automated and semi-automated machines; however, when equipment is down, you will shift to manual assembly tasks , including installing speakers and wire harnesses onto headliners. If you're hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working overnight, this is a strong long-term opportunity. Key Responsibilities Operate assembly machines safely and efficiently during graveyard shift Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and machine adjustments Load materials and monitor output to ensure consistent production flow Inspect finished parts for quality and report defects or issues When machines are down: Assemble speakers and install wire harnesses onto headliners Support manual assembly processes to keep production moving Document production counts, scrap, and downtime Maintain a clean, organized workstation Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Communicate machine issues to leads, maintenance, or supervisors Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred Ability to work overnight and maintain strong attendance Comfortable with hand tools and basic mechanical tasks Able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for long periods Able to follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety protocols Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to support manual assembly when needed
