The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Assist in order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals. Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management as needed. Support other warehouse functions as required, including heavy lifting of products when necessary. Skills Strong understanding of quality control processes within a warehouse setting. Basic mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred. Previous experience in a distribution center or similar warehouse environment is advantageous. Proficiency in order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packing techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively as part of daily responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
