The ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working in a warehouse or yard setting in the construction industry, with a strong focus on loading, unloading, preparing loads, and inventory management. This role requires versatility, as you will be working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard with a variety of materials, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, wrought-iron, fittings, hardware, and more. Clean driving record required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, or by hand.
• Prepare loads for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Interact daily with customers.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the warehouse and yard, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Occasional deliveries using company vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse, yard, or similar environment.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (required).
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (preferred).
• Experience working with construction materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, wrought-iron, fittings, and hardware (preferred).
• Willingness to work both indoors in the warehouse and outdoors in the yard, regardless of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 60+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Pass E-Verify.
