Job Description
Santa Barbara Freight is a logistics company specializing in the movement of wine & spirits from coast to coast and most points in-between. We are looking to add to our night warehouse team at our main warehouse terminal in Paso Robles, CA and are open to both Part Time and Full Time applicants. Duties could include up to all functions of warehouse duties such as:
- Consolidation of palletized freight
- Load and unloading of commercial trailers utilizing forklift or manual pallet jack
- Count and stage palletized customer freight for loading
- Build customer palletized freight based on pick lists
- Verify, wrap, and label freight
- Basic warehouse housekeeping and maintenance Minimum requirements:
- Ability to work nights, Monday - Friday, starting at 5:00 PM. Part Time hours available
- Be at least 18 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Desire to work collaboratively with team to collectively get the tasks done.
- Forklift experience is desired but is not required.
Minimum physical requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs. consistently and repetitively
- Able to push/pull full pallets with manual pallet jack consistently and repetitively
- Able to sit/stand/bend/kneel/squat/grasp consistently and repetitively
- Able to maneuver in/out/step-up/step-down within confined and/or high to reach spaces consistently and repetitively.
