Warehouse Associate - Furniture Distribution Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently handling furniture products throughout the distribution process. This includes unloading inbound shipments, receiving and inspecting product, putting inventory away, picking orders, and loading outbound shipments. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Unloading Safely unload inbound shipments of boxed furniture from trailers and containers Verify product counts and condition during unloading Stage product for receiving and inspection Receiving Accurately receive inventory using RF scanners or manual processes Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies Ensure proper labeling and documentation Put Away Transport and store products in assigned warehouse locations Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as needed Maintain organized and accurate inventory locations Picking Accurately pick customer orders based on pick tickets or RF devices Ensure correct items, quantities, and quality standards Stage orders for shipment Loading Safely load outbound shipments to maximize space and prevent damage Secure loads according to company and safety standards Verify orders before shipment General Duties Follow all safety policies and procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors Meet productivity and accuracy standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus Experience with RF scanners or WMS systems preferred Forklift or equipment experience preferred (or willingness to be trained) Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Work Environment Warehouse setting with varying temperatures Exposure to moving equipment and heavy products Shift schedules may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends What You'll Bring Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail and accuracy Team-oriented mindset Commitment to safetySimilar remote jobs
