Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate - Shipping Team supports the daily shipping and outbound logistics operations at Mount-It!'s distribution center. This hands-on role is responsible for preparing, verifying, labeling, and staging all outbound shipments using shipping systems and carrier protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A strong work ethic, organizational skills, and experience with shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and Sellercloud are essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily shipping functions including picking, packing, labeling, and processing orders for outbound shipment. Use shipping software (ShipBridge, Sellercloud) and scanners to verify order and item accuracy before printing and affixing shipping labels. Match order numbers and item numbers on labels to those on boxes; ensure accurate documentation and package integrity before shipment. Print and apply shipping labels using both thermal and paper label printers (Zebra and Brother), and properly secure them to packages. Build outbound pallets for UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipments, ensuring proper stacking, packaging, and shrink-wrapping for transport. Use electric pallet jacks to transport completed pallets to appropriate carrier loading docks or trailers. Prepare and process customs paperwork for international shipments and ensure compliance with out-of-country shipping regulations. Unpack, inspect, and log all incoming return merchandise; support return processing in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a clean and organized shipping station, including sanitizing surfaces, sweeping floors, and restocking shipping materials and pre-made boxes. Support packaging efforts with proper void-fill and protective materials to ensure secure delivery of fragile or multi-box shipments. Assist with general warehouse functions such as receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment when needed. Communicate with warehouse supervisors to report completed shipments and ask for additional tasks during downtime. Follow all safety guidelines and workplace cleanliness standards to maintain a safe and efficient shipping environment. Work as a team player with a positive attitude, supporting co-workers and demonstrating dependability and integrity.
