JOB SUMMARY

Perform an array of labor functions including (a) receiving and processing of materials and components (b) picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders (c) finished product assembly and/or (d) organizing and retrieving inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned.) Assemble components into finished products per documented methods. Package finished products per documented methods. Receive and process incoming materials and products. Properly manage component and product inventory retrieval, location and aging. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Maintain a reliable attendance record.

BASIC SKILLS

Able to perform basic math (addition and subtraction). Able to problem solve and/or trouble shoot situational challenges. Able to interpret oral and documented instruction. Reasonable mechanical skills and hand coordination. Experience with common hand tools encouraged but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift 75 pounds. Able to stand and walk for 2-3 hour intervals. Able to work in an environment with a moderate to loud noise level. Able to use hands and fingers for product handling. Periodic exposure to outside weather conditions. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent education required. 1-2 years previous warehouse experienced preferred but not required. Forklift Operator Certification preferred but not required.
