Metal Fabrication Shop Assistant/Unloader/Loader- 2nd shift (12:30pm-9pm)

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Metal Fabrication Shop Assistant/Loader/Unloader for a steel manufacturing company located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

$19-20

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 12:30pm to 9pm

Job Duties :

The Shop Assistant will assist in various duties in the hardware area such as grinding, bending sheets, rolling sheets, and loading and unloading.

Roles and responsibilities:

Help pull hardware Able to read work orders Grinding, bending sheet and rolling sheets Loading and Unloading in the Glomar Department Perform other duties as assigned Bilingual (preferred) Mechanically inclined Must be flexible to perform other job duties in other departments Manufacturing experience preferred

Job Requirements:

Must have at least 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Mechanically inclined - Ability to operate tools and machinery effectively. Flexibility - must be willing to perform various job duties across different departments. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl. Ability to work outside yard to load and unload when needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Must have and wear steel toe shoes or boots or composite shoes throughout shift as well as assigned PPE (Ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.) Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start.
