1st Shift Material Handler/Forklift -Shipping Department (5am-1:30pm)

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This is a full-time temporary position with potential for hire. Starting Pay Rate:

$23.50

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 5am to 1:30pm (mandatory over time with little to no notice is required, may work 12 hour shifts including Saturdays)

General Description of Duties:

Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: May flip, stack, and band doors for shipment Inspect incoming loads Check shipping documents for correct customer information Operating propane and electric forklift vehicles Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed Material preparation and material handling Staging and packaging finished product for delivery Other general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

Qualified applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of warehousing and material handling; door hardware experience highly preferred Prior Cherry Picker and Stand-up Reach Forklift experience Powered lift truck certification highly preferred Strong inventory control and cycling counting experience Must be have experience with verifying shipping documents, BOL's etc. Able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis Must be highly motivated and a self-starter; Positive outgoing attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual a plus Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.50 - $23.50 Per Hour
