In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, loading, and unloading materials to ensure smooth supply chain flow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling. Responsibilities Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements. Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision using order picker tools and pickers to meet shipping deadlines. Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are correctly documented and stored. Conduct heavy lifting tasks and handle materials with mechanical knowledge of equipment operation while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assist in warehouse distribution activities, including inventory management and stock replenishment under supervision. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and load & unload machinery safely. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. Experience with warehouse supervisor responsibilities or managing materials handling operations is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols. Skilled in heavy lifting tasks with physical endurance for demanding workloads. Construction or logistics experience is advantageous; certification in forklift or crane operation is preferred but not mandatory.
