• 20/hr Job Description The material handler will perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control duties in the warehouse.

Responsibilities Prepare documents and instructions for coordinating the shipping and freighting of pumps, cartridges, and materials. Pack and prepare company products and other materials for shipping according to customer requests. Maintain records of orders shipped, documenting weights and shipping charges. Ensure documentation complies with governmental and regulatory agencies' requirements. Schedule and coordinate shipment deadlines with Customer Service to ensure timely arrivals. Maintain computerized shipping systems, 100 lb. scale, 300 lb. hand truck, pallet jack, bubble pack dispenser, and bander. Receive incoming materials, services, and supplies, verifying against purchase orders or invoices. Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. Transfer approved materials into proper stockroom locations or deliver packages internally. Coordinate incoming shipments authorized for return with Customer Service, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance. Receive products from quarantine and production into finished goods, verifying accuracy and reporting discrepancies. Examine stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Perform daily cycle counts and ensure 100% accuracy of finished goods inventory. Perform daily inventory data transactions and provide feedback to inventory inquiries. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience, including material handling in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems, data entry, and working in an FDA-regulated environment. Proficiency in using pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and automated shipping equipment. Good oral and written communication skills. Basic math and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with GMP environment and ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Ability to pass an MVR check. Demonstrated word processing and data entry skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory CA driving record. Why Work Here? Join a growing company with a product in high demand. Work Environment The work environment is casual with a laid-back team. Steel-toed boots are required and pants are part of the dress code. Most communication occurs through email, and timely responses during work hours are essential. Shifts are scheduled from Tuesday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.76
