Deliver products to various stores based on packing slips and invoices, ensuring the accuracy of items delivered and timely fulfillment of all orders. Verify delivery information before dispatch to ensure correct deliveries. 2. Accept product returns, following due authorization procedures as outlined by the company, and ensure all return documentation is completed accurately for proper processing. 3. Operate light delivery trucks with a capacity of up to 14,000 lbs. for transporting goods to designated locations, ensuring safe handling and driving in accordance with traffic laws and company safety protocols. 4. Assist in packing materials in the warehouse, preparing orders for delivery to customers. Ensure that all packing materials are properly labeled and secured to prevent damage during transit. 5. Accept payments in the form of checks from customers, securely store them during transport, and promptly deliver them to the office for processing, following company guidelines for handling financial transactions. 6. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local roads and routes to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery. Utilize GPS or manual navigation tools to optimize travel time and avoid delays. 7. Demonstrate flexibility and be willing to work additional hours as required, especially during peak times or when demand from stores fluctuates, ensuring all deliveries are made without delay. 8. Make frequent stops to unload and deliver products to various locations, ensuring that each stop is completed in an organized and efficient manner. Follow company procedures to verify deliveries, complete paperwork, and resolve any issues that may arise. 9. Interact professionally with store staff and customers during delivery, addressing any questions or concerns regarding products, delivery schedules, or returns. Maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. 10. Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle, ensuring that it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. Report any issues with the vehicle to the supervisor or maintenance team immediately. 11. Adhere to all safety guidelines while driving and handling products. This includes the proper use of seatbelts, following speed limits, and ensuring that products are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent accidents or damage. 12. Ensure all necessary documentation, including packing slips, invoices, and payment receipts, are accurately completed and submitted to the office in a timely manner. Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during deliveries.
