This position plays a critical role in the safe handling, processing, and movement of steel products within our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment while supporting daily warehouse operations and customer orders. Essential Job Functions General Warehouse Duties Stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift) Load and unload trucks daily Manually lift, move, and stack steel pieces (up to 50 lbs) Use cranes and forklifts to move material throughout the warehouse Follow all safety protocols and procedures Equipment Operation Overhead Crane Operation Safely lift, move, and position steel using an overhead crane. Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits. Band Saw Operation Set up and operate band saws to cut metal stock. Follow work orders for specifications, measure and inspect cuts, and maintain equipment as needed. Forklift Operation Operate forklifts to move, locate, and pull orders. Must be forklift certified and adhere to all safety standards.
